Take awesome photos
- Everybody is going on the internet and looking at photos. They HAVE to be perfect.
- Have a plan
- Take a LOT of pictures, but pick out the best ones and get down to about 20 photos
- Photos don't have to be of rooms
- view out the living room window
- the playground
- the neighborhood
- the landscaping
- the new furnace
- Don't take same photo 5 times
- Don't take photos in the rain
- Don't take photos with a cheap camera
- Ensure good lighting.
- Natural light is best
- Play with curtains.
- Bring in lights if necessary.
- If you have to flash, bounce it off ceiling so it is less harsh
- Eliminate bright and dark spots
- Avoid mid day when sun is harsh
- Add some temporary lights and take a night shot
- Accessorize so the room tells a story
- Declutter
- There is no reason to have all your crap lying around in the photo
- Remove furniture to make rooms seem more spacious
- Use wide angle or panorama mode to stitch photos together when you can't step back
- Use a tripod and a timer, so the camera does not shake at all
